The Good ol SPOT: Lighting the way.

Petrogrades is a nasty peak in the Pamir Alai Mountains in southern Kyrgyzstan. Darkness oozed around us as we abseiled. It came from below, creeping up the grit filled walls and within minutes we were swallowed by its thickness. Immediately all noise was frighteningly near, the rocks were crashing all around...

My spot headlamp, securely attached to my half Dome BD helmet was one of only two relieving spots of light in this maddening vertical. Andreas was the other. His seadfast strenght and dependability was clear.

Like my spot headlamp, he is dependable, easygoing, tenacious, goes everywhere from the highest mountains to the wildest rivers and has a whole lot more stamina than one would expect. He is someone, like my spot, whoyou would love to have with you on any trip. The only difference is the size and weight. Andreas is a gentle giant of 6foot 3 and 98kg and my spot is small and light.

It is super resilient for its size and hangs out in my BD speed backpack all the time: Ready for anything.

It has 60 lumes of super bright power on max setting which allows you to find your way in the most oozing dark and with its three single-power LED's and 3 different power settings, it alows for a relaxed proximity lighting around camp and when reading in the tent..

Lastly: its pure Value for money...

Enjoy it...
