gear that takes you there
On our recent 8 month adventure driving from Cape Town to London through 27 countries we loved having the Jetboil with us.
We used the Jetboil in the mountains, the desserts and the cities, whilst biving, car camping or in our hotel room. We used it from 156 meters below sea level at Lake Assal in Djibouti (the lowest point in Africa) to 5188m above sea level on Peak Nelion on Mount Kenya( the 3rd highest point in Africa). It never failed to boil water….fast and simple.

The Steripen Adventurer
What a fantastic travel companion. It gave us the assurance of using water from almost any source and within a minute the Steripen had made one liter of water good to drink. We found this especially useful in Central and Northern Africa and the Middle East. We used it out in the rural areas and in the cities when we stayed in cheap hotels. After we had Steripened the water we could drink it knowing that we were not going to get upset stomachs. We Steripened hundreds of liters of water on our trip. The Steripen is compact, easy to use and avoids using chemicals in the water.
