2012 NBL FINALS IN KZN - 28th April

 The SANCF, in partnership with Beal, Saltic and Black Diamond, bring to you the 2012 National Bouldering League finals.  This year’s event will be held on the 28th April in KZN at the University of KZN’s bouldering wall situated at the Old Mutual Sports Hall.  This competition is open to those who took part in their regional finals and came in the top 5 in their category.The categories are:  U15, U17, U19, Open Expert (19 – 39), Open Novice (19 – 39), Veterans (40 – 49) and Masters (50+).  All…See More

Hi, my latest "adventure" was a five day hike on the western "edge" of the African continent. It was actually just a 60km slack-pack with my wife and seven other couples along the west coast of South Africa. Two donkey-carts (4 donkeys each) accompanied us all the way and you could actually hop onto the cart when you felt like it. A great relaxing hike with fantastic camp fires and even greater west coast fish (snoek) and sweet potatoes for dinner. I add a few photos.
